The BookTEK 5 V2S Semiautomatic delivers high-quality, high-speed digitization, ideal for 24/7 operation. Its standout feature is a self-adjusting book cradle with a motorized V-shaped glass plate, plus an optional flat glass plate. It efficiently scans originals up to A2+—including books, magazines, posters, and bound documents—at up to 600 dpi.
Gentle on books
The unique self-adjusting book cradle offers the flexibility to scan in V-mode at a gentle 120-degree angle or in flat mode with the optional flat glass plate. This thoughtful design minimizes strain on delicate book spines, ensuring high-quality, preservation-friendly scans while safeguarding document integrity.
Motorized glass plate
The motorized glass plate ensures distortion-free scans while protecting the book binding. Its balanced design enables effortless scanning without physical strain. For precise alignment with the book fold, the glass plate can be adjusted horizontally.
