Digitization in brilliant quality
A high-resolution linear CCD camera with laser-controlled autofocus precisely follows the curvature of books, scanning along the reading direction.
Despite this precision, the scanner achieves a full A2+ scan in under 1 second, and with the optional 600 dpi resolution, it completes the scan in just 3 seconds.
Versatile book cradle
Scan books in V-position at a 120° angle, which allows for safe scanning without damaging the bindings, even for rigid books that cannot be fully opened. The flat mode is perfect for scanning newspapers or posters. The unique magnetically coupled book cradle allows precise centering of the book fold, ensuring optimal alignment for every scan.

Ergonomic and flexible
The BookTEK 5 V2 features a 21-inch Full HD multitouch screen, offering three flexible mounting options to find the ideal position for any application. Additionally, if the touchscreen is placed on the side, a separate preview screen can be mounted on the neck for added convenience.

The BookTEK 5 V2 is so simple to install that you can begin scanning within minutes of unboxing. Whether you choose the stand-alone Kiosk system or the Professional network scanner model, setup is hassle-free and efficient.
Compact design
The BookTEK 5 V2 offers an A2+ format and only a slightly larger footprint, making it ideal for environments where multiple scanners need to be installed in limited space. This makes it an excellent choice for high-volume digitization projects in tight areas
Three models
Basic
The entry level model offers the same scanning functionality and speed as the other levels at the lowest possible cost.
Kiosk
This model includes all of the features of the Basic model plus the Scan2Pad application for scanning and operation with any mobile device, foot switch and Full Coverage Warranty.
Professional
This model includes all of the features of the Basic model, but has a higher resolution of 600 dpi and client interface for 3rd party software to meet the highest quality standards. It also includes a foot switch and Full Coverage Warranty.

BookTEK 5 V2 Kiosk
Greener Office
Reduce paper waste and consumables by replacing traditional copiers. Scan to USB saves documents to a USB drive, Scan to Email sends them directly via email, and Scan to Cloud stores them securely for easy access.
Face up scanning
Copying books face-up is gentler on the spine and pages, making it easier for the operator and reducing book repair costs, which is especially beneficial for libraries aiming to preserve their collections.
Scan to mobile devices
The BookTEK Kiosk includes the Scan2Mobile functionality, enabling wireless connection of the scanner. This allows the user to operate the scanner directly from mobile devices like iPads and Android tablets.
Integrated accounting
An optional integrated billing module can be connected to existing accounting systems or handle billing independently. It offers configurable invoice printing, journaling, and remote system locking/unlocking as standard functions.

BookTEK 5 V2 Professional
Quality for professionals
The BookTEK 5 V2 Professional extends the Basic model to 600 dpi resolution for projects and applications which demand the highest quality image results. The client interface enables simple integration of complex workflows utilizing one of the many capturing software solutions available, such as BatchScanWizard or BCS2.
Full network scanner
The scanner comes with a 1 Gbit Fast Ethernet connection and a TCP/IP-based Scan2Net® interface, enabling ultra-fast data transfer. Scanned images are transmitted across your network almost instantly, ensuring an efficient workflow.
